A description of each opportunity is below.

Health and Healing Coordinator

As a member of Deer Park’s Council, your commitment to Council is 10 monthly council meetings, a Planning Session and any special meetings. In addition, approximately 2 hours a week are required to coordinate, plan and facilitate those activities related to the Health and Healing ministry at Deer Park.

Health and Healing Committee

A team is needed to support those who:

• Are trained in the principles of REIKI and provide healing sessions on a request basis and at special healing services
• Create, bless and deliver prayer shawls to those who are in need
• Make and deliver casseroles to those in crisis
• Make sandwiches, bake goodies and serve at Funeral Receptions
• Visit with people on a short and long term basis

Stewardship Committee

A year round commitment with an intensive 8 week Stewardship campaign in the fall. You will be able to help the church to grow in its generosity in the use of our member’s time, talent and treasure.
