Although Tom was born and raised an American, his life experience and faith journey have brought him to our congregation. His social justice background, deep empathy and sense of  humor have combined to give him the depth to lead this flock in south Calgary. He can be totally at home leading us in prayer or in a rousing shout of “Yahoo!”

Tom’s Corner

Kiran is passionate about church programming and social justice work; in particular advocacy work in regards to seniors, mental health, low income services and the LGBT community and their allies. She completed her Bachelor of Arts (History, Women’s Studies) in 2011 and her Bachelor of Social Work in 2014 at the University of Victoria in Victoria, BC. She is excited to be a part of the Deer Park UC team!

Joanne feels very privileged to be part of the  Deer Park office team. She has extensive experience in both church and office settings. With a passion for serving others, she is engaged on a number of volunteer committees and teams. Joanne has a Bachelor of Arts (Double Major, English Language and French Language) from the University of British Columbia. Outside of serving her favorite faith communities, Joanne can be found spending time with her family
